“Brain” poster
For this project, I set out to create a poster displaying a “gentle” reminder to think: “Brain — you have one — use it!”.
Behind the scene
A review of various propaganda posters helped me understand the style I was aiming for: big, strong, aggressive letters to carry the message, complemented by some illustration.
The sizing of the letters make the “Brain” and “use it!” part of the message stand out, summarizing it for a quick read at first glance. The layout gives rhythm to the words: the poster first shouting “brain” before delivering its message “you have one – use it!”.
